Welcome and Namaste. I am Dr. Bishal Pokharel. I am Executive Director of Force for Health Nepal Chapter which is an American med ed tech company that creates networks, platforms, content, and engagement tools and events to advance the health status of people and the communities in which they live. I was the first person to open its wing in Asia. This experience was the start of many other adventures and projects. Currently, I am also Assistant National Director for Human Nature Project Nepal. It works for the conservation of Nature and its Habitat. It also works to protect endangered species. Talking about small projects I worked with JDN and its mother organization WMA on the Global Surgery Working Group which in collaboration with other projects, organized a very successful virtual UNGA side event in 2020. I am also a Lifetime Member of the Nepal Red Cross Society and have worked with them on many projects. In addition, I am also a Standard Member of ISPOR- The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcome Research. And I have completed my Mentorship Program with New England HIMSS. I have also represented WMA in WHO RC73 which was held virtually in Thailand. Presently, I am a Student at Harvard Medical School and I am enrolled in Effective writing for health care. In 2022, I opened my first company CASTELLTECH PVT.LTD. with the hope of delivering excellent services to the people and making a difference in people's life. My idea behind the opening of the company is that no ideas should go waste and everyone deserves the chance to make an impact from their ideas toward society. I am National Representative For ESCMID which stands For European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious disease. From experimental passion projects to commissioned work for clients, I’ve had the opportunity to create a variety of projects for this dynamic industry.
